Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup cocoa powder, sifted
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract, optional

In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the cream until frothy and starts to thicken. Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Mix until soft peaks form. Add almond extract if desired. Whip until stiff peaks form, and serve.

Daniel Levy was born on August 9, 1983, in Toronto, Canada. He attended high school at North Toronto Collegiate Institute and pursued film production at York University and Ryerson University. He was a television host on MTV Canada, The Great Canadian Baking Show, and most notably starred as David Rose in the CBC sitcom Schitt’s Creek (2015–2020), which he also co-created and co-starred in with his father, Eugene Levy. In its sixth and final season, the Canadian comedy set an Emmy record, taking home seven primetime awards and nine Emmys in all.
